The clients own a 1930’s Rice University bungalow with Arts and Crafts design and want an updated the interior with in keeping the Arts and Crafts style. The newly remodeled home is a harmonious blend of old and new. Natural light is capitalized with the new appointed windows. A layering of lights and general recreated by low voltage, accent lighting, incandescent decorative lighting and general recessed lighting make the space appropriate for kitchen tasks while taking advantage of the energy effectively provided by the natural light.

The client requested that their vacation home on Lake Conroe have a tropical feel and that the living room be an extension of the “seascape.” The designers enhanced the “ocean view” by commissioning a restrained mural of dunes and palm trees for the two-story wall opposite the fireplace.

At this Cypress, Texas horse ranch, a shoot-out at high noon takes place on a 120 inch movie screen with surround sound in an equestrian influenced interior.

“Great Room” with a view. The designers were responsible for all space planning, cabinet and millwork designs, lighting, finish selections and furnishings in the handsome family room.

This spectacular Power room was designed with unique architectural details to complement the French Chateau style of home.

This elegant Master bath is full of custom details! The neutral color palette was based off of the “winter cloud” marble slabs used on the countertops and tub deck.

With a view of a horse barn, this outdoor living area was designed to compliment the surrounding landscape of pasture and horses. The client wanted all design to be in keeping with the Texas Ranch style retreat.

Reflective finishes and meticulously placed mirrors transform this 40 sq ft powder room into a larger than life spectrum of light.

This dining room is “green” in many respects. The floor is reclaimed 10-inch plank pine that has been waxed, not refinished; it was selected for its “green” qualities as well as for the rough texture appropriate for this ranch retreat.

From the subtle pattern of the antique Oushak rug to the billowing window treatments, soft colors and textures reminiscent of the lake just outside the patio door infuse this Guest Retreat with a pleasing calm.

Dragons, castles, and DRAMA were the request of the clients when it came to the home theater of their French chateau style home.

The clients requested that “French Chateau” architectural style of their home remain evident thought the interior.

Sweeping vistas of Lake Conroe inspired the colors and decorative touches of a stylish second home the owners use primarily for entertaining.
