Pink & Green, two of the client’s favorite colors, were the first words the young client said when describing her room. Perfect for a 5 year old-however, her parents wanted to be sure it was a room their young daughter could grow up in.

Christy Davis, ASID AlliedWhen the remodeling process began for this New England home inspired by the famous Thomas Point Lighthouse, the client asked that the original architectural integrity of the exterior remain evident. The original straight staircase was replaced with the new curved, floating that ribbons three floors.

Jane Page Crump, ASIDThe client wanted an elegant and efficient space of her own where she could work at home. One of the most important elements of the design was that the space provided ample file and cabinet storage. The display space was planned for the client’s bleu and white porcelain collection.

Living Room with neutral color pallette Residential – Single Space

Jane Page Crump, ASIDThe clients requested that the interior detailing of the living room, as well as the furnishings, be in keeping with the Frank Lloyd Wright influence of the exterior. The designer began working with the client and architect during the planning phase and was responsible for all lighting, cabinet and millwork design, finish selections and furnishings. A neutral color palette is successfully achieved through the combination of various textures, including the limestone wall, Roman-patterned Jerusalem Bone limestone flooring, shag rug and natural fiber fabrics seen on the furniture.

The client needed 3 to 4 work stations, 2 wash areas, a make-up station, reception and waiting area. The client who is the solo stylist has assistants that help her with blow dries and color. She wanted a restful and comfortable space where her clients could enjoy talking with her as she worked.

Poolside area Residential – Outdoor Living

Ashley Tisius, ASID AlliedThe client likes to entertain and frequently hosts nonprofit functions. The clients wanted an attractive poolside area with a cooking facility and conversation area.The tiered wall, housing the pizza oven, serves as the focal point of the kitchen area. The fireplace faced in a white Texas limestone serves as the focal point of the conversation area. The fireplace was designed with stone benches flanking both sides for additional seating.
